Rescue

This new series of sculpture follows on from the artists’ career dedication to help raise awareness of the vulnerabilities of our planet and the effects man has on it. The Rescue series follows the Shared Journey project where Julie and Derek asked us to work as one to solve these problems.

Rescue now abandons subtlety and makes bold statements that all need to address: yet still creating beautiful objects. When it comes to caring for the planet and thinking beyond the here and now, many are waiting for someone else to lead the rescue. This exhibition is a reminder that we are all need to play a part in any solution, and it is now time to act!
